AdBrite is the advertising service that enables the people who visit your site to purchase ads directly on your site. You decide which ad products to offer and what to charge for them. AdBrite serves your ads, bills your advertisers, and sends you a monthly check.
What kinds of ad products can I create with AdBrite?
AdBrite specializes in flat-rate sponsored text-links (x dollars for y days) and cost-per-thousand-pageview (CPM) banners.
Who sells my ads?
AdBrite transforms your site into its own best ad salesperson. Your users click a "Your ad here" link, choose from among your ad products, and place their orders. You may also choose to have your site listed in AdBrite's searchable directory, from which thousands of advertisers buy ads.
Who decides which ads will run on my site?
You do. AdBrite emails you every time an order is placed for an ad on your site. You approve those orders that meet your standards and decline the rest.
What happens when I approve an ad?
AdBrite bills your advertiser's credit card, serves the ad on schedule, and removes it from your site once is has expired.
And if I reject an ad?
AdBrite notifies the advertiser that you have declined the ad. You are not obliged to offer any explanation.
What is displayed when I have no direct-ads to show or some unsold spaces?
You may choose to display AdBrite's AdBrite Network ads, for which you are paid per click. These ads act as placeholders, and are automatically displaced by new direct-ad orders. If you elect to display AdBrite ads, you will set a threshold that determines the tastefulness of ads that will be served to your site, but you will not approve individual AdBrite ads. You may request any AdBrite ad be removed from your site after it has been served.
Is AdBrite a high-maintenance service? Will it require much attention from me?
No, life with AdBrite is as simple as approving the new ads you want and depositing your monthly check.
What if I already use another ad service?
AdBrite encourages you to continue using whatever ad services you already use in addition to AdBrite. According to many of our users who run AdBrite and other advertising services on the same pages (and according to tests we have run ourselves), AdBrite's payout is superior - but that's no reason to discontinue any program that's making money for you.
Must I sign a contract to use AdBrite?
There is no contract to sign, nor are you obliged to use AdBrite any longer than you like. You may discontinue your AdBrite service in one easy step: remove the AdBrite HTML code from your website.
How much does AdBrite cost?
Set up as many pages to display as many ads as you like free of charge. AdBrite's share of your ad revenue is an industry-low 25%.
When will AdBrite send my check?
AdBrite issues payment in US Dollars on a net-90 basis and mails checks on the last Thursday of every month. If your net-90 revenue does not meet your minimum check amount, this revenue will roll over to the following month. Your minimum check amount is $20.00 by default, but you may change it to any value you like - even $0.00.
Why does AdBrite issue payment on a net-90 basis?
This is an anti-fraud measure protects you from billing disputes, as most credit card companies do not allow chargebacks after 90 days.
